To celebrate the launch of Ink and Ember, Stamford’s beautiful new indie bookshop and creative hub, I was invited to create a large-scale mural that brings warmth, imagination, and a touch of magic to the space.

Working directly onto the wall, I created a free-flowing, intuitive illustration — a mural that feels like one big, joyful doodle. Drawing from my signature iconography, I reimagined my motifs with a bookish twist, weaving together elements of curiosity, ritual, and quiet enchantment to reflect the creative spirit of Ink and Ember.

It was a joy to work on a larger scale and contribute to a space designed to support and celebrate Stamford’s creative community. Being part of this project not only gave me an excuse to spend more time in indie bookshops (a dream!) — it also placed my work alongside an inspiring group of local artists.
